NEW SITE IS COMING!
So the new site is coming, along with my debut EP, 'The Darkness Of The Night'. Last week Ben and I decided that we would go back into the studio to re-record some of the songs, due to the fact that I was ill on the original day of recording and I feel I can do so much better.
On the gig front, I have 4 coming up this side of Christmas and 1 in February 2010. On the 12th November I have been asked to support the amazing Amy Studt at The Victoria in Swindon. I seriously can't wait for this gig. Im hopefully going to round up the troops and get the band onstage for this one. I just feel it has to be done. It will be the debut for my new drummer Callum James whom I met through a friend. He used to play with Swindon band 211 before parting ways this summer.
Anyways, I'll keep this short and sweet :)

I've been spending the past few months writing and recording my debut EP enititled 'The Darkness Of the Night', which is due for release in October 2009. To coincide with the release, the website will be dusted off and revamped with even more features, music and news. Picking Up The Pieces: The CD is nearly ready. . .
I'm really excited...I've finally finished the artwork for 'Picking Up The Pieces' and it's going off to print today :)
Hopefully this means that the CD will be available to buy next week (2nd Feb) if not sooner...
It is a really good thing seeing it all come together after 6 years of existence in cyberspace....the songs now have a platform to travel the world in a physical from, which is the closure I have wanted for a very long time.
As always I will keep you updated and let you know when we have lift off.

The limited Edition CDs are nearly ready! I'm designing the artwork this week which means they should be ready very soon.
The CDs will include polaroids, a 5 page pull-out and of course the 18 track CD containing the demos and live performances. Each one will be made by hand and will be individually numbered.

I am in the process of writing and recording my debut album, although I don't know whether I am going to put out 2 EPs or a full album. I guess I'll see how things pan out.

DEMO ALBUM RETROSPECTIVE
The demo album is nearly ready :)
Like I have said before, I have wanted to release all of my demos from the past and present as a collection for some time, so that they have a proper platform and presentation to the world. Over the past 6 years they have continued to grace the space that is MySpace and I now feel that they should be given the opportunity to go beyond. The songs are by no means perfect, and I never meant them to be. They are untouched.
'Picking Up The Pieces' is a collection of demos and live performances spanning a total of 6 years. Written, recorded and performed between 2002-2008, these songs exist as they are; Raw, Honest and Pure.
The release date is not definite as I'm trying to secure an online store to sell it from. However, it is ready to roll so once this is sorted I aim to have it available ASAP.
UPDATE - OCTOBER 2008
Hey Guys
Thought it was about time for an update from me, seeing as though I have been a little quiet recently. Over the Summer I've taken a step back from playing shows to concentrate on writing new material and recording the album.
Back in July I went into the studio with my long-time drummer Sam who very kindly offered to produce the CD, however after completing a couple of rough mixes (which you can hear on my page) he has now left for Uni. In August I decided that I would produce the album myself and have now started the pre-production process. Im hoping that the album will be finished, along with new promo photography, in time for the New Year :)
Once the album is done I then intend to head out in 2009 and play as many shows as I can, taking my guitar, tunes and the album with me.

Its been a little while since I posted a blog so I thought Id put up a little update on what I've been doing these past couple of months, and what I've got planned for the coming Summer....
Well, as i have said before, I was going to release an online album of all of my myspace songs called 'Right Where I Want To Be'....up untill a few weeks ago this was still in the pipeline. I have now decided that rather than 'sell' the demos on an external website....I am going to post them momentarily on MySpace for you to download for free - 5 at a time over a period of 5 days. I know that some of you will already have them...but this if for those that have missed out on the last couple of years :) Watch this space as I will be posting updates of when this will take place very soon...
Over the past couple of months I have been playing a selection of shows both in London and my hometown of Swindon including headline and supporting shows...one of which was with Johnny Flynn (Vertigo Records) back in June which was an amazing experience for me. Last Thursday i played a headline show @ The Rolleston in Swindon with my new band which was awesome.
My previous drummer Sam has left the band to focus on his Uni Studies therefore, my guitarist Dan Lane has picked up the sticks in his absence....Dan's first instrument happens to be the drums so it was relatively an easy decision :)

Details of the show will be posted in the next couple of days or so. If you happen to live around London...get yourselves down there on the 22nd....i'll be perfoming most of the set on the piano which I have never, ever done before...

So as you may, or may not have read, I am going into the studio this week to record my debut EP or Album depending on how many songs I manage to get down. It was going to be an acoustic album, but i have decided to mix it up a little and have mix of both full-band and acoustic versions of the songs. Over the past month i have been writing new material which will appear on the album along with some of my stronger old material which you may have already heard on the MySpace....the title of the album is yet to be decided, but it should be available to buy before August :-)
I will be posting studio diaries this week to let you know of the progresss of the album, and the songs that will appear.
Right...I think thats it for now...thank you for all of your support, messages and comments. You all know who you are :) Keep them coming as it really means a lot to hear your voices, thoughts, comments and even some messages once in a while. I always try to respond as quick as I can :)
